Pat brings over 10 years professional service in the Free Market non-profit world and over 8 years in High-Tech to the job of Jefferson Club President.
Prior to joining the Jefferson Club, he was the Product Master Manager with VeriSign, Inc. for four years and he served in various capacities with VeriSign's Marketing Department for the previous 3 years, being involved in VeriSign's rise from 100 employees to over 2000.
Before moving to Silicon Valley in 1995, Pat was the President (and co-founder) of the Free Market Society of Chicago, an educational non-profit 501(c)3, offering seminars and events highlighting great free market economists and their ideas. Seminars regularly discussed the ideas of Ludwig von Mises, Friedrich Hayek and Murray Rothbard.
For the eight years previous, he served as the original Development Director of the Heartland Institute (www.heartland.org), the premier midwest think tank, located in Chicago, IL, helping them grow from the founding 20 supporters to over 600 supporters and a quarter million dollar budget.
Pat earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Lawrence University, in Canton NY, with a Multi-Field Major (Economics-History-Government).
Pat is excited about working with Jefferson Club's founder Ed Ipser in continuing efforts to help "forge a path to a free and productive society through unfettered commerce and technology."
